Spring Semester Operations
The details of FP&M’s COVID-related operations remain the same as the Fall semester. For more information and FAQs, visit the Current FP&M Operational Status page and the FP&M Facility/Building Manager Tools page.
Public Health Signage (Interior)
Public health signage remains available to campus units at no cost from DoIT Printing and Publishing Services. As you prepare for the Spring semester, please use current guidance and recommendations to post new or refreshed signage in your building.
Masking Required Signage (Exterior)
Masking signage for building entrances remains the same as Fall semester. If you encounter a building entrance missing a sign or a sign that needs replacement, please contact Physical Plant Customer Service.
Physical Plant Leadership Updates
Jim Bogan has been selected to serve as the next Interim Executive Director of the Physical Plant. He transitioned to this new role on December 19, 2021.
Kurt Beilman will serve as the Interim Director of Facilities Management while Bogan serves as Interim Executive Director. In addition, Silvie Marlette will take on additional responsibilities as the Facility Policy Manager. Both of these appointments are effective on January 16, 2022.
Reminder: Take the Physical Plant Operations Report Survey
We would like to hear from you about your experience with the Physical Plant Operations Report (currently on hiatus) and how we can make this publication more useful to you. Please take some time to complete this survey before January 31, 2022.
FP&M will use this information to make improvements to existing aspects of the Operations Report and to expand the report in ways useful to the campus community.
Reminder: Take the Survey about Publicly Accessible Computers in Campus Buildings
On behalf of a cross-departmental working group sponsored by VCFA Rob Cramer and the Secretary of University Staff Governance, we ask that you take a few minutes to complete a survey about publicly accessible computers in campus buildings before January 21, 2022.
This survey aims to help this group determine what computer access is available for second- and third-shift employees across campus.
