About FP&M services

Facilities Planning & Management (“FP&M”) Physical Plant (“Physical Plant”) is responsible for ensuring proficient and reliable delivery of campus facilities operations, utilities, and services. The primary mission of the Physical Plant organization is to proactively manage the useful lifespan of real property assets on the campus, identify and prioritize requirements, and plan and coordinate the execution of those requirements.
Physical Plant’s operations occur across the entire University of Wisconsin-Madison (“UW-Madison”) central campus, including buildings and grounds, walkways and roadways, parking lots, vehicles, and utility generation and distribution systems.

What is a Service Level Guide?

The FP&M Physical Plant Service Level Guide is intended to provide a reference for services and support that are included in Physical Plant baseline services or general maintenance, as well as those that are beyond baseline services and charged back to the requesting department/unit.
