Tony Helmke has accepted the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Facilities Planning & Management. He will start work on November 1, 2018.
Tony joins FP&M after spending ten years as Controller and Executive Director of Accounting at Springs Window Fashions LLC, where he was instrumental and creating both financial processes and high performing teams that supported the company’s goals.
In this role, Tony will focus on helping FP&M improve its budgeting, financial controls, financial reporting systems, and financial decision-making. He will oversee all operational budgets and capital budgets as well as establish new processes for cash flow management, forecasting, and reporting. The CFO will help FP&M move to a higher level of financial management and oversight so that we can better serve our campus customers and steward our financial resources. This work will also put FP&M in a more agile financial position that will better allow us to both advocate for financial resources from campus, and allocate them more efficiently across FP&M’s many units.
The Chief Financial Officer will be part of the Office of Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) and report to the Deputy AVC.
